The Sagada Trip : Day 1

Months din bago namin na finalize na Sagada ang destination. Im not sure if it was my friend Che who thought of it or me but it was one of the places on my wish list to go and i never imagined i will go there someday haha. Sa huli 6 kaming confirmed na pupunta. :)

Quezon city ang first destination to take the bus ride from Manila to Bontoc which is 12 hours travel. feeling pa namin nung una nasa Amazing race kami its 15 minutes before 8:30 di pa namin nakikita yung terminal (lumipat kasi yung station) when we knew where it is we were like running to get there with our bags and voila were there! nakahabol pa kami pero two of my friends were still not there kinakabahan kami baka di na sila antayin but 3 mins before 8:30 nakahabol pa sila in their scrub suits or uniform haha. whew ang haba ng biyahe nakakapagod pero worth it naman kahit gabi ang biyahe may nakikita ka naman kahit paano lalo na pag pa-umaga na.(cliff, terraces, small falls and mountains and fog hahaha) Maulan pa nung pumunta kami sa sagada so we were really wishing na please make it sunny for a while napagbigyan naman kami kahit paano. :)

it’s like were on the other side of the mountain and after were on the other cool! :) Foggy pa yung place and super cold! :)

around 8am nasa Bontoc na kami and we passed by a parade im not sure what festival they are having.

when we were in sagada our tour guide told us that the rice plantation rituals already started so i thought that maybe its the festival they were celebrating.. i’m not really sure :)

From Bontoc, 45 minutes ride will take us to the town proper of Sagada. all over from cordillera to sagada plant terraces were really visible.

Sa wakas nandito na rin kami! sa jeep terminal nandun na lahat.. bus terminals, municipal hall, hospital and church and the tourist information center. we register first sa tourist information center nila at nagbayad ng environmental fee(mura lang naman) then to our loding house.

DAY 1

after checking in at Canaway House diretso kain muna sa Salt and Pepper. we ate breakfast there or we can say brunch. the food was great and the servings were almost good for two nabigla nga kami eh pero naubos pa rin namin besides it’s a good thing because we never know what exhaustion we’ll get after haha.

we met our tour guide Sir Andrew of Saggas and two more Sir dennis and sir Jason who helps us a lot. as in a lot!!

First destination : Cave Conncetion

Sabi ni Sir Andrew sa cave connection more on adventure yung mga rock formations kasi nasa kabilang side sa Sumaging Cave.

The adventures begin! :) Entrance pa lang struggling na kami haha it was my first or lahat kami first time mag-spelunking. Entrance pa lang kami medyo difficult na ang dinadaanan at nilulusutan pero along the way you are going to appreciate what you are doing. the adventure, the excitement to see the rock formations deep inside the cave and the thrill to go outside and finish the course. also the fun for 4 hours crawling, sliding, balancing, walking, swimming? haha etc

since we are still in the tail end of the rainy season ma-tubig pa sa loob. ang lakas ng falls at sobrang lamig ng tubig at ang linaw ha.. :)

may part din dun na sa cave wall may mga fossilized na shells. They said na according to the geologist thousand of years ago sagada was underneath water at umangat lang because of volcanic eruption! Cool! ang taas-taas ng sagada feeling mo nasa langit ka na tapos noon nasa ilalim siya ng tubig? Super Cool!

ang nice lang sa loob sa haba ng nilakad, sa mga gasgas, pasa at sugat na nakuha at sa pagkasira ng aking leggings worth it naman lahat! haha

Yey! on our way out! 150 steps daw haha sobrang pagod na talaga kami niyan as in define PAGOD! we started around 1:30 and we finished it around 5:30 whew!

Day 1 ends

nothing matters

i love to write short stories and novels.. its the only thing that make me escape from my reality. Sometimes i cant help myself not to wish that my stories are me. that i was there.. that i was the one receiving these happy endings. i know i always telling myself that someday i'll have my own happy ending. Its just tiring that i was waiting for it. tiring of thinking about it and that's the most tiring to do, to wait for it. maybe that was the reason of all my frustrations and depressions.. That was the result of my imaginations of wants and needs and dreams.

Unexpected Trip

I was scheduled to go to manila to get my Requested TOR from my Former University. I was planning just to go by myself since i thought of to go straight ahead to my current University to fix my subjects to be credited and etcetera. Few days before that i thought of i wanted to have a company so i asked my friend, Josie to go with me and she agreed on it. :)

We leave around 8 in the morning i think haha and got there by 9:30 because it is so traffic in Cavite! urrrgghh! What do i expect? haha. Its really just very few minutes to get my TOR and there's still no classes so ive decided to toured her around. Well im still very proud of my former university. i had great times there and actually missed it. i toured her in the whole campus and we take pictures and all haha. We go from the canteen, student's veranda, library, the theater room etcetera and all plus I told her my good memories there and I feel like im a tour guide haha.

After that I was actually thinking we go straight to SM Southmall but she asked me if we can go to Rizal Park so I said its okay with me and since it’s quite still hot(the weather) we ended up first at SM Manila to freshen up and eat lunch. We settled up at McDonalds, I don’t want to think more where we should eat and it was the first fast food we saw already. J We stayed there for an hour we chatted with few brown outs occurred and thinking where other places to go. Then I suggested we can go to Intramuros wall it’s been 2-3 years the last time I walk there for nothing purposes but to get tired haha. Then the journey begins…

I was thinking to buy an umbrella since its 12 noon exactly and I thought walking at “walls” would be a tanning timeJ. But we saw that it’s cloudy and it’s like going to rain so I decided not. We also thought its going to rain but NO! It started to clear up and became sunny. We got on the other side and started walking and Josie was so amazed and had so much fun seeing the old structures and for me it’s already natural (I’ve already seen it many times) but I find it nice to see one enjoying the views and all.

We follow the trail and got almost near the Manila Bulletin Office and I was telling her that I want her to see the taping location (some) of the TV series “Encantadia” before but the way there is already closed! Awwww..sayang.. I don’t know why it’s closed. Then I told her that we can go now to Luneta but she asked me where the Fort Santiago is and I really don’t know haha then I thought the Cathedral with tombs inside (San Agustin Church) and she was also wanted to see it too so we decided to find it. Honestly we can’t remember the name of that cathedral so we just asked what cathedral is near where we are and remembered the Manila Cathedral. So we really walk from “Wall” to nowhere. But found first the nice painted Church it was the San Agustin Church but it was closed but the museum is opened. But we don’t have enough budget at that time so we never seen the whole church insideL. And it’s the Cathedral we wanted to see the crypts inside..The tombstone from the Spanish Era! Awwww… The church is open publicly early morning and in the afternoon where a mass is held on weekday’s maybe… We just captured the front of it….

Not far from there we saw the tower of a cathedral again and we knew it’s the Manila cathedral. We go there and seen few museums around and cute old fashioned coffee shops and restaurants. Im looking forward to eat one on there. J before we almost get there we passed by a statue or something and a katipunero man was there and Josie asked for a picture with him and he was okay with it haha..

And finally we are here at The Manila Cathedral! Yeeehaaa! We Go inside immediately see some of the small galleries there, take some pictures and stay for a while to say a little prayer. I forgot to have a candle lighted there or I just never see the candle stand there. I also remembered few stories about your first time in a church. You can whisper your wish there but of course I forgot it too. Tssss… we stay for a while then and go.

After that Josie remembered the Fort Santiago and still wanted to go there. we looked around and found it in front of us. We saw the signage going to Fort Santiago and found the kalesa’s and again we didn’t enter the Fort Santiago because again we don’t have enough budget for it. We just took a picture of the place. After,we go straight ahead to Luneta Park which is far. Really!! I thought our walk will never end and take note we don’t have umbrellas! I think we were near the Pier place and we walk all through out Quirino Grand Stand! Whew! Long walk….Long walk as in Long walk! Finally were there!! Were at Luneta Park now. Gosh so tired from walking. I feel like im perspiring so much and I feel like I got so tanned haha. I was joking Josie that ive already had my sunburns from my previous Family swimming and I have another just right now and she was just laughing at me that I was exaggerating and it was okay which is true. J (Don't have any picture but Josie has)

After the long walk, taking pictures of everything and the sunny day we ended the trail and we are already at Taft and get ready to ride back home…Oopps…uh ah…were not done yet.. J. We rode the bus going to SM Southmall Las Pinas because I don’t know why. I just wanted to and atleast from the way there we had time to compose ourselves, relax and enjoy the air conditioning of the bus and read the comedic and joke horoscope at the TV and watch Korean music videos which the sounds is so low as in you can never hear it and when its almost near southmall the sounds became louder. Such a joke really! Plus passed by at the Taft the Bus Station going to Lucenea City and seen that their busses has free wifi! I already thought going to Lucena City just to experience the Wifi of them haha not a bad idea though. You are surfing the net plus a good long trip you can gain plus the views outside or passing by. Hmmmm..thinking about it..how musch would be the fare kaya? Haha

At Southmall ive decided we should just eat and go home because tiredness is already slipping in But to our surprise we accidentally saw our two good close friends, the couple, Allan and Ice. We chatted around and they told us they had come from manila too. We take pictures there with Ice’s DSLR and few chats before they bid us goodbye. We just ate after and decided to go home.

Long Day…Long trip…Long walk…Long bonding time…Long fun…Long Sunny time. J

But in short I had the greatest day and greatest trip ever! Even if it’s not the best places to go and its not really far I think the adventure of looking around and the funny times and chatting around with your friend or friends was the greatest fun. I got tired…yes…but all worth it.. Its unexpected trip but that makes the trip memorable one.

Never been late for Summer outings? not really… I think summer would never be complete if you don’y have an outing at the beach or just at the pool etc.. I thought i would never have it since i was busy with my summer classes and i never just thought so.. but…..My Family decided to go swimming for a day which is surprisingly unbelievable! we don’t usually go for outings that much as a family since both of my parents were quite busy and its just a quick plan after all. If i have outings i’m with my friends or classmates always. So i think it is the best day ever!

Anyways back to my family outing.. It was fun actually even it is a day swimming. Most of the time if i went to swimming it is always at night so it is new to me again haha.. From 8am to 4pm we just swim around and play and take note i don’t have sunblock at first. What?! so after, basically that afternoon too i had my sunburns few sunburns.. thanks to my good friend she has sunblock so she lend me some haha not too late to apply it..its almost 12noon..ooohhhh…imagine my face lightens up when she told me to have some. I thought i’m doomed on my sunburns and super tanned complexion hahaha.

After few hours of swimming i thought of taking pictures with my Camera (just 10 mega pixel only) i love taking pictures and i love photography! i just wish i have few courses with it..learn few techniques and all..(sigh) and have a good DSLR… :) but that doesnt stop me not to take pictures and enjoy doing it. Besides i have my friend who’s game with all my crazy stuff around the resort and play with it.

I really had a great time with the swimming and photography with my Family and a friend. We ended the afternoon tired but really had a great time.. swimming, foods, pictures and swimming again plus the sun! haha.

What an enjoyable day!

Turning back

If i can just turn back and ran away from all the pain and sadness maybe im happy now...

contented...calm...no bothered thoughts..

hmmmm.....

sometimes i just wanted to run away to be free..

to feel good!

to feel happiness even for awhile..

free from hesitations

free from pressures and

free from the hash reality...

I thought of please for a moment i want to live in a beautiful dream.

where everything is serene, great and full of joy..

no fears, no griefs...

but everything has an end..

illusions are always will be an illusion..

and you are back to reality..

you cant just close your eyes again and go back..

you just cant.. because it is always should be..

Harsh realities are hurtful but you'll definitely gain a lesson

a wonderful experience and challenge you for a better thing...

its been so long.. months perhaps? (Is that long? :O) since the last time i blogged here? i used to blog way back (Friendster Era hahaha) but i dont know why i stopped. many reasons to consider i guess...lazy to type, busy with school? (understatement haha) or just too boring to share another sentiment again haha. but lately yes im in the mood to blog again.. I made new account in tumblr but again i never updated from the first day i created it hahaha such irony... Even in my literary diary i so seldom to write on it these past few months. Maybe im just into reading now. Just wanted to read and read all over. I got fanatic with Fan Fictions because i was also a writer by heart. Not really good though but this is where i pent up all my feelings, all the things i wanted to be , i wanted to have etc..

So im back in blogging?

Back into Thinking, Sharing and Blogging! Im Back! Im back! and that is because of a good friend. She reminded me about this site and in a snap im back again with my old self. The dreamer writer is back.. i guess...up until when? hmmmm..... :) until my mood is still here but i guess im writing again... yes....aaagggaaaiiiinnnn hahaha
