Early Holy Week trip to Kamay ni Hesus Lucban Quezon (Part 2)

Day 2

Rise and Shine on the beautiful sunny Sunday at Lucban Quezon! :) Were still quite sleepy haha since it was almost 12 midnight when we decided to retire ourselves from chit-chatting plus difficulty in sleeping because of "namamahay" (for me) and maybe because of the loud engines of the tricycles. hmmph! but it was okay. We were looking forward to climb the hundred steps of the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. No rains this time. :)
I was planning to take the mass at St. Louis Church by 7am but i was so late so i was really hoping that i would have the chance to take mass at Kamay ni Hesus Healing Church. So here we go. This really is it! haha

The Trail to heaven
view from the church down

before you enter the trail you will find the candle stand and of course i would not let it pass by to light candles and say a little prayer
Pieta

The Noah's Arc, a lodging
Before you enter the trail besides it there was the Garden of Eden trail. It is much more low-leveled than the trail of Kamay ni Hesus we dont go there actually.

small pool of lots of Koi Fish, they are big! :)

The start of the trail to Garden of Eden but we never continue to follow.. :(

The stairway to heaven este The stairway of the shrine.
this was taken maybe on the 2nd 0r 3rd level. That was the healing Church and since it was Sunday lot of Devotee's and Mass goers are attending the mass and climbing up the stations.
Ive tried to capture all the station of the cross but failed to capture all.

there are some small bridges along the way :)

a floating Immaculate Conception but no within the grounds of the shrine there are lots of Statues of different Saints, Jesus Christ and Virgin Mary. I think it is in the upper portion of the ground or something that in the trail it looks like it was floating in the air.

there is also a big Grotto of Our Lady of Fatima in between of a station

above grounds near to the top

From the top it was really exhausting but in the same time very fulfilling! It was like you have won in a race. It was such a great experience to share and remember. I have seen different people there adults, teenagers, kids, family, people who are sick and old people and that was really fascinating to see because the trail up and the stairs were very exhausting. It was so amazing and so touched to see these people (those people who's sick and the old ones) have the faith in their eyes and their determination to be healed. Maybe the others have their "Panata" to go there and many other reasons. It was such touching to see these people. I really so much admire them.

After the exhausting trail up i attended the last mass schedule. (luckily nahabol ko pa haha). After Mass we go back to Town Proper to eat at Buddy's and Buy "pasalubongs" like Longganisa Lukban, the famous Broas, espasol (my favorite!) and a very yummy Yema Cake! haha

To see our food trips you can see it to my friend's food blog http://munchersandnibblers.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html

We rode Back home around 1pm and arrived at Manila by 6pm. Such a great weekend indeed! :)
A great travel. :)
